Job Title: Bartender

Location: 2580 NE 10th Ct - Homestead, FL 33033 Salary Range: $10.98 - $11.98 Hourly

Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for Buffalo Wild Wings guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner. This role focuses on engaging guests in the bar area of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Make personal connections with guests to build loyalty through engaging conversation.
Check identification to ensure guests meet minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverage consumption and comply with responsible alcohol service (RAS) procedures.
Read and organize tickets to quickly and accurately serve guests and manage large crowds.
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Buffalo Wild Wings' Standard Operating Procedures.
Inform guests about promotional items such as Beer of the Month and make suggestions upon request.
Replace kegs and restock alcohol bottles as needed.
Monitor and manage bar inventory and cost control measures, including tracking waste.
Maintain proper levels of inventory including stemware, glassware, and garnishes; prepare, wash, and sterilize these items.
Collect and process guest payments accurately.
Take precautions to limit problems related to excessive drinking.
Take food and beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area, including equipment and glasswashing.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum age of 21 years.
Certification to serve alcohol as required by state law and company policy.
Prior bartending experience or a minimum of two years related experience preferred.
Knowledge of commonly ordered drinks and ability to make recommendations.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and security procedures.
Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Ability to manage conflict and solve problems with emotional intelligence.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
