Title: Restaurant Bartender

Overview: The Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar area and mixing drinks for all guests and servers. This role requires maintaining service standards, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and control over liquor inventory.

Responsibilities:

Process guest checks, handle cash, credit cards, and room charges following company standards.
Perform opening and closing side work to ensure prompt and efficient service.
Prepare beverages and cocktails with attention to mixing standards, portion control, and presentation.
Serve guests warmly, courteously, and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the lounge and bar areas.
Operate computer systems related to bar functions.
Complete cashiering tasks including closing checks.
Comply with all state liquor laws.
Assist in controlling beverage costs.
Serve alcohol responsibly, managing guest intoxication and reporting issues to management when necessary.
Complete beverage requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
Stock and clean glassware.
Verify soda tanks are full and properly secured.
Prepare garnishes for drinks.
Assist with cleaning tables and lounge areas as needed.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Legal age to serve alcohol as per local laws.
Ability to work flexible, long hours.
Capable of medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for entire shifts.
Previous bartending experience is helpful.
Strong listening and communication skills with guests and employees.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Proactive in identifying problems and assisting with solutions.
