Koko by Bakan – Coconut Grove
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Barback to join our team at Koko by Bakan in Coconut Grove. This role is essential to supporting our bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, polish, and organize glassware continuously throughout service
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
- Support bartenders by restocking ice, liquor, beer, wine, mixers, cups, napkins, straws, and other bar supplies
- Prepare fresh juices, syrups, and drink garnishes
- Assist with opening and closing bar duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Collaborate closely with bartenders to ensure efficient and timely service
Requirements:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for lunch and dinner shifts
- Must be available on weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is a plus but not required
