Title: Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. This role involves serving customers, managing bar inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences, including classic cocktails, new creations, wine, and beer.
Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide attentive service.
Manage bar operations efficiently, including restocking, organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and setting up and closing the bar.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and conduct regular inventory checks to minimize waste.
Process payments accurately using cash, credit card transactions, and POS system while ensuring transaction accuracy.
Adhere to local regulations for alcohol service, including age verification and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.
Assist in preparing and serving drinks for special events and private parties.
Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.

Candidates with supervisory experience will be highly regarded and may be considered for a team lead role.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; bartending school certification is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years experience as a bartender or similar role.
Proficient in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good math skills for handling transactions.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and proper serving techniques.
Understanding of local laws regarding alcohol service.
