Job Description: The base salary for this position is $27.26 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Assist guests with beverage and drink preparation, servicing both the bar area and restaurant efficiently and promptly
Engage with guests to understand their preferences and ensure satisfaction with beverages and service
Be knowledgeable about menu drink offerings, standard drinks, cocktails, spirits, and specials to assist guests in selecting beverages
Comply with Mauna Lani / Forbes standards across bar and restaurant outlets
Contribute to increasing food and beverage sales through product knowledge
Accurately take, place, and input orders using the Micros system, ensuring correct timing and billing
Prepare guest checks accurately and process payments or collect signatures as required
Operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment and fittings properly
Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of bartending experience in foodservice/hospitality, preferably within a luxury hospitality property
Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Professional appearance and demeanor, with a good character to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handler and alcohol training certificates
Ability to obtain TB clearance
