Bartender Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or guests
- Mix and serve drinks according to company standards
- Verify legal drinking age by checking IDs
- Handle assigned house bank and follow cash-handling procedures
- Collect payments and balance receipts
- Maintain a fully stocked and clean bar area; prepare inventory requisitions as needed
- Serve food to guests seated at the bar
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and distillery products
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of serving experience and previous bartending experience
- Excellent oral communication and positive interpersonal skills
- Fluent English speaking and basic writing ability
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to speak, hear, and see clearly
- Frequent walking and standing; may cover long distances
- Able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Manual dexterity and ability to kneel, stoop, and reach as needed
