Description: We are hiring Bartenders to support multiple areas within our Retail Dining team. Positions include year-round support at the Naval Academy Alley Club and Restaurant, the soon-to-open Anchors and Irons venue at the Brigade Sports Complex, and events such as Navy Baseball, Rugby, and Ice Hockey. Shifts range from 6 to 8 hours, 3 to 5 days per week, including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a full-service bar.
- Receive payment or process charges to member accounts.
- Assist in inventory taking and maintain accurate records.
- Keep bar area clean and properly stocked at all times.
- Wash bar equipment, glassware, and utensils.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Physically capable of prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lifting kegs over 100 pounds.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Experience as a server or bartender, including mixing a variety of drinks, especially exotic cocktails.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to prepare common drinks such as Bloody Mary and Margarita.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work professionally in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting over 100 pounds.
