Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our food and beverage team as Seasonal Hotel Food and Beverage Bar Housemen. You will help ensure exceptional guest service and contribute to positive, memorable experiences during peak season.

Responsibilities:

Assist in setup, organization, and breakdown of banquets, events, restaurant, and bar spaces
Collaborate with Front of House team to ensure seamless service
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
Transport food, beverages, liquor, kegs, cases, and other bar-related items between storage and service areas
Replenish supplies during events and throughout the workday
Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly report concerns to management
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining, storage, bar, and kitchen areas
Support servers and bartenders as needed
Assist with cleaning tasks including floors, surfaces, and trash removal
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Demonstrate excellent teamwork and positive communication with guests and team members

Qualifications:

Excellent guest service skills
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy items (up to 50 pounds occasionally)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail for event setup
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to assist in diverse roles
Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Louisiana Responsible Vendors Certification required
SERV Safe Food Handlers Certification required
Must be 19 years or older
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Comfortable working in close quarters
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a bar back or hotel houseman preferred
