Position Overview: Join The Atlas Hotel, Boston’s first-of-its-kind hotel, as a Banquet Bartender. Be part of a brand-new hotel and help create unforgettable experiences that combine research, hospitality, and inspiration.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to guests, managers, and colleagues at all times.
Set up the bar according to hotel standards and Banquet Event Orders to ensure prompt and efficient service.
Prepare beverages and cocktails following the hotel’s mixing and presentation standards.
Serve guests all beverage requests courteously and professionally.
Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment properly.
Comply with all state liquor laws and hotel policies.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and service areas during service.
Handle money according to prescribed procedures.
Respond promptly to guest concerns, complaints, and accidents.
Know fire exit locations and how to operate fire extinguishers.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to stand for entire shifts and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests.
Ability to listen, understand, and address concerns effectively.
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing duties to meet deadlines.
Maintain a professional appearance and wear the proper uniform.
Flexibility to work long or varied hours as required.
Attend all required trainings and meetings.
Ability to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Demonstrate initiative in anticipating guest and operational needs.
