Buddy’s Pizza, a pioneer of Detroit-Style Pizza with over 75 years of history, is expanding throughout the Midwest and seeking experienced Bartenders to join our team. Our ideal candidates are passionate about providing exceptional food and beverage experiences with attentive and gracious service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer questions regarding food and drink preparation and ingredients.
- Take orders accurately and provide timely, friendly service.
- Prepare and serve all types of alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
- Merchandise and suggestively sell all menu items.
- Promote specials and coupons.
- Follow responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Collect payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
- Ensure all monies and bar registers are balanced.
- Assist staff with bar knowledge, including proper glassware and garnishes.
- Support team members during busy shifts.
- Observe guests to respond to additional needs.
- Communicate concerns and suggestions to management.
- Adhere to company policies and sanitation/safety procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships to promote a harmonious environment.
- Represent Buddy’s Pizza with a professional and favorable image.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years bartending experience or two years serving with liquor.
- TIPs or equivalent certification.
- Previous restaurant experience is necessary.
- Good communication skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to reach, lift, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Physical & Safety:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and required.
