Title: BARTENDER (FULL TIME)

Location: Delta Sky Club - 2642 World Gateway Place Bldg., Detroit, MI 48242

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, including weekends. Shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. More details provided during the interview.

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Requirements:

One year of prior bartender experience preferred.
Ability to verify guest identification and detect intoxication in compliance with liquor laws.

Job Summary: Prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol.
Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes.
Check guest identification at the bar.
Detect and address guest intoxication as trained.
Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and maintain accurate records.
Lock up and store beverage products, food, equipment, and cash securely.
Perform cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
Arrange bottles and glasses attractively in the bar area.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.
