Title: Bartender

Description: Join the dynamic team at The Confluence Hotel, a charming boutique hotel in Hastings, Minnesota, where hospitality and exceptional service are our priorities. We are seeking a professional and personable Banquet Bartender to provide outstanding beverage service during events and functions, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at banquets and events
Set up bar stations according to event requirements and maintain cleanliness throughout service
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with legal regulations
Collaborate with event staff to coordinate beverage service and meet guest needs
Restock and organize bar supplies and inventory as needed
Handle cash and process payments accurately
Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in banquet or event settings
Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and responsible alcohol service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Valid Minnesota bartending license or certification as required by law
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
