Title: Bartender

Overview: Serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, achieving high guest satisfaction.

Growth Path: Beverage Manager/Restaurant Supervisor – Restaurant Manager – Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:

Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
Check customer identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
Take orders, serve, and clear food and beverages to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas, if applicable.
Issue guest checks and complete payment processing.
Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
Complete required side work before shift end.
Assist with beverage inventory.
Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits, use protective equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma preferred.
Previous bartending or mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
TIPS certification a plus.
Food Sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.

Work Context:

Work schedule varies and may include holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
