Job Description
Title: Assistant Bar Manager
Description: The Assistant Bar Manager will assist in supervising the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, including the hotel bar, cocktail lounge, coffee shop, room service, and concierge lounge. This role is responsible for ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget and ensuring compliance with standards and legal obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets.
- Assist with inventory management and order supplies, cleaning products, and uniforms as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support and supervise an effective self-inspection program.
- Operate department equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Supervise staffing levels to ensure smooth guest service and operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry regulations and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
