Job Summary: As a Bartender, you play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive, accurate, and genuine hospitality. You will guide guests through their dining experience, from greeting to farewell, while working closely with the front-of-house team. Elevated beverage knowledge and responsible alcohol service are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service in an inviting bar atmosphere.
- Demonstrate expertise in cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits; offer recommendations and ensure accurate pours.
- Prepare drinks efficiently and consistently, entering orders accurately in the POS system (Toast).
- Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure timely and precise food and beverage service.
- Engage guests proactively to monitor needs and handle requests or concerns with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware, tools, garnishes, and stock.
- Follow closing procedures, process payments accurately, thank guests sincerely, and complete end-of-shift tasks.
- Stock and set the bar before and after shifts to support smooth operations.
- Support team members to provide seamless guest service.
- Uphold Q39 standards for service quality, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar.
- Proficiency with Toast POS or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4–5 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Guest-focused, team-oriented, and professional attitude.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service and food safety practices.
