Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for preparing drinks by following high standards and recipes in an energetic environment. With a genuinely friendly customer service attitude, the Bartender describes the menu and daily specials, takes orders, mixes drinks according to proper recipes, serves food promptly, and ensures guests have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional hospitality experience by anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
- Understand the restaurant menu to engage guests in choosing menu items and answer their questions.
- Guide guests through their dining experience by taking, placing, and serving food and beverage orders, as well as processing payments.
- Adhere to service timing while demonstrating a warm and outgoing personality.
- Help guests select menu items by reviewing food and bar menus, recommending cocktails or wine, suggesting courses, and explaining chef’s features.
- Maintain the cleanliness of tables and the dining area around guests, completing opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Availability to work weekends.
- A guest-focused enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
