Title: Restaurant Bartender / Shift Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a bilingual Lead Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will take customer orders, make drink recommendations, maintain a clean and inviting bar area, and create a variety of traditional and creative cocktails. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-service oriented, and passionate about mixology.
Responsibilities:
- Take drink orders from customers
- Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and comply with all state and federal alcohol laws
- Collect payments and operate the cash register
- Order, maintain, and restock bar inventory and supplies
- Supervise bar and floor staff, including managing cuts and break schedules
- Perform keyholder duties such as opening and closing the venue and managing the alarm system
- Handle escalated guest issues and resolve staff conflicts professionally
- Oversee cash handling, including drawer reconciliation and bank deposits
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending preferred
- Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Strong teamwork and accountability
