Title: Bartender | Brook Valley Country Club
Brook Valley Country Club is seeking experienced Bartenders to join our team. The role involves preparing, pouring, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring excellent customer service. Candidates must have thorough knowledge of mixology, including food and wine pairings as well as wine presentation and service.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and stock the bar prior to opening.
- Prepare garnishes, fruit mixes, and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greet and serve members and guests, mixing drinks according to standard recipes.
- Collect payments and manage cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and equipment.
- Monitor and record inventory to ensure adequate stock.
- Follow all health, safety, and legal requirements regarding alcoholic beverage service.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 education.
- At least two years of bartending experience.
- Legal age to serve alcohol.
- Weekend availability.
- Knowledge of POS systems preferred.
- Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.
