Title: Bartender (Part-Time Seasonal) at Shoretown Ballpark

Pay Range: $12.00 per hour

Job Summary: This seasonal, event-based position primarily runs from April to September. The bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to liquor laws concerning serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes with prudent portion control.
Verify guests’ identification at the bar.
Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
Handle cash transactions accurately and secure cash deposits.
Lock up and store beverage products, food, and equipment.
Perform general cleaning to meet health and safety standards and keep the work area organized.
Arrange bottles and glasses attractively in the bar area.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid alcohol server’s permit.
Ability to detect guest inebriation and comply with liquor laws is required.
