About Us Casa de Montecristo offers adult cigar consumers a premier cigar experience, featuring large selections of premium cigars, modern lounges, walk-in humidors, and full bars across multiple locations in the United States.
Overview The Barback supports the bartender in the daily operation of the bar.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Replenish liquor, beer, and wine as needed during the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing side-work as assigned.
- Receive all liquor, beer, and wine deliveries from the storeroom daily.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the bar and lounge areas.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in the bar industry or related field required.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Flexibility to work long hours as needed.
Work Environment/Conditions Employees are regularly exposed to smoke or airborne particles and occasionally to wet or humid conditions. Noise levels are usually moderate.
Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, talk, and hear. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or sit. Must frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include the ability to adjust focus.
Salary Range USD $15.92 per hour.
