Now Hiring: Bartender

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Welcoming customers, listening to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders
Informing customers about new beverages and specials
Being knowledgeable of all menu items, their contents, and preparation methods to answer questions, make recommendations, and upsell
Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages
Checking identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
Providing responsible service of alcoholic beverages in compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws and food safety regulations
Taking inventory and ordering supplies to keep bar and tables well-stocked
Preparing and serving menu items according to Fogo de Chão recipes and guidelines
Handling multiple tables and tasks efficiently and maintaining cleanliness
Managing cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, balancing the cash register
Educating self and assisting co-workers with basic bar knowledge (e.g., wine and liquor varieties, mixed drinks)
Performing all reasonable tasks assigned by management

Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged hours. A high level of endurance, mental acuity, and the ability to manage conflict and high-stress situations are required.

Compensation: This position has a fixed rate of $12.00 per hour and is also eligible to receive tips. Additional details regarding tips will be provided during onboarding or upon request.
