Position Summary: The Model Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering elevated food and beverage service while creating an energetic and hospitality-driven guest experience. As a visible brand representative, the server must maintain exceptional grooming, professionalism, confidence, and guest interaction standards.
This role primarily operates on the outdoor patio and during high-volume game day events. It requires working efficiently in changing weather conditions, loud atmospheres, crowded spaces, and fast-paced service periods while maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
Ideal candidates are outgoing, service-focused, physically resilient, and thrive in high-energy hospitality environments.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive cocktail and food service to guests.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all food menus, beverage offerings, specialty cocktails, beer selections, and promotions.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process guest payments.
- Monitor guest needs continuously and anticipate service opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service stations, patio areas, and guest-facing sections.
- Engage guests professionally and energetically in line with venue standards.
- Comply with SNHD, OSHA, company, alcohol awareness, and gaming-related policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with bartenders, food runners, bussers, security, and management.
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and side work duties.
- Maintain appearance standards, uniform requirements, and grooming expectations at all times.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Safely carry trays, glassware, food, and beverages throughout shifts.
- Support special events, large sporting events, and high-volume patio operations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: This position is physically demanding and requires continuous movement, primarily outdoors. Candidates must be capable of working in various weather conditions common to Southern Nevada, including high heat, direct sunlight, wind, cold temperatures, rain, and sudden temperature changes.
- Continuous standing and walking, often exceeding 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 35 pounds without assistance.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, balancing, crouching, and navigating crowded areas.
- Ability to tolerate elevated noise levels, large crowds, flashing lights, music, smoke exposure, and other hospitality-related environmental factors.
- Ability to safely navigate stairs, uneven surfaces, wet floors, and busy patio areas while carrying trays.
- Maintain professional composure and appearance during peak and physically demanding periods.
- Schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime as needed.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Previous cocktail serving or high-volume hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience in upscale dining, nightlife, sports bars, dayclubs, or patio service strongly preferred.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness and Health Cards required before employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards required.
