Title: Bartender - Reno Sparks Convention Center
Job Description: Become a master of mixology as a Bartender with Aramark! You will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills and grow professionally while working alongside passionate teammates.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take orders
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process cash and credit card transactions
- Provide drinks to servers as needed
- Adhere to alcohol service policies and verify identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Follow cash handling procedures
- Set up, clean, and sanitize workstations
- Take inventory counts and ensure stock levels
- Provide excellent guest service and maintain a positive demeanor
- Ensure security of company assets
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of bartending principles, recipes, and current trends
- Ability to obtain required Aramark and state/local alcohol service certifications
- Strong hospitality skills with friendliness and comprehensive beverage knowledge
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, fun environment
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
