Pay Rate: $18.79/hr (Union Position)

Job Location - Belmont Park: Belmont Park is a major thoroughbred horse racing facility located in Queens, NY. It is operated by the New York Racing Association with partners including Levy. Belmont Park will reopen in Fall 2026 and will host world-class events such as the 2027 Belmont Stakes and the 2027 Breeders Cup.

Schedule: This is an event-based role requiring availability Thursday through Sunday with average shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Job Summary: Team members will prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. A current ServSafe Alcohol certification is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor laws regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up bars, requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain and prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders, mix and garnish drinks following standard recipes, and practice portion control.
Verify guest identification.
Monitor guest sobriety and act according to training and liquor laws.
Handle cash transactions, verify charges, record sales, and secure deposits.
Lock up all beverage products, food, equipment, and cash.
Perform cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
Maintain an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize glassware.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Current ServSafe Alcohol certification.
Availability Thursday through Sunday.
Ability to provide two valid physical forms of ID during hiring.
