Wallkill Golf Club, located in Middletown, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Bartender. We are seeking a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused environment. Role Type: Seasonal (Position lasts 6 months or less)

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

General Purpose: Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to established standards with hospitality and professionalism. Create memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties:

Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages
Assist with cost control, inventory management, and maintain records
Support creation of seasonal cocktails and menu development
Help manage social media schedules and content creation
Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and company procedures
Communicate guest requests and concerns to management
Perform opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
Handle cash transactions using the Point of Sale system
Review banquet schedules and serve catered events
Occasionally serve meals to guests
Maintain safe work practices
Regular and reliable attendance
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
One to three months of related experience or equivalent education and experience

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with restaurant Point of Sale systems (e.g., POSITOUCH, MICROS)

Physical Demands: Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands; regularly reaches with hands and arms; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Certificates & Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent required

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current industry trends
Knowledge of cocktail recipes
Professional and courteous demeanor
Strong commitment to company values
Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization
Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and comprehension)
Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
