Job Title: Hydraulic Bartender (Part-Time)

Job Description: The Hydraulic Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food to guests, including making cocktails, pouring wine, and opening bottled beverages. Expertise in suggested pairings and alcohol flavor profiles is expected to provide exceptional and professional service.

Essential Job Functions:

Set up the bar and bar equipment
Answer guest questions about beverage items
Suggest beverage choices for guests
Ensure alcoholic beverages are consumed responsibly according to company and state laws
Enforce liquor laws in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Maintain constant inventory to ensure beverage supply
Maintain professionalism and appearance standards
Greet guests at the bar and dining room
Collect payment from guests
Maintain portion control
Assist with clearing tables and bar areas during and after service
Clean service spaces including bar tops, behind the bar, floors, and equipment
Carry bus trays to the kitchen and take out trash
Maintain station cleanliness to uphold food safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, speak, and understand English
Dependable transportation to and from work
Minimum six months experience in high-volume bartending

Preferred Qualifications:

Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image
Ability to perform basic math operations
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Capability to multitask and manage multiple duties
Friendly and positive attitude towards guests, customers, and coworkers
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Working Conditions:

Physical requirements include walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy environments
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
