Title: Cocktail Server (non-gaming)

Job Location: Norman, OK 73026 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift: Any

The Cocktail Server (non-gaming) provides excellent beverage service to all guests, taking and serving drink orders while accurately handling financial transactions. The server must verify that all guests requesting alcoholic beverages are of legal age by checking proper identification at all times and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding alcohol distribution.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality customer service to all guests on the casino floor.
Take and deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage orders.
Assist bartenders as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
Ensure proper portion control and legal serving of alcoholic drinks.
Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and act accordingly.
Follow health, safety, and responsible service policies, including ABLE laws.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and obtain a key gaming license and liquor license.
Professional appearance; required uniform includes a short dress or shorts and heeled boots/shoes.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Knowledge of federal, state, and tribal employment laws.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

Exposure to smoking and secondhand smoke.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Noise levels may vary from minimal to intense.
