Bartender
Job Description
Elkins Estate, part of the By Landmark brand, is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team. Landmark Hospitality operates unique and iconic venues such as Liberty House, Stone House, the Ryland Inn, Albion Summit Hotel, and Hudson House in New Jersey, as well as Hotel Du Village and the Logan Inn in Pennsylvania. We specialize in upscale restaurants, event spaces, and boutique hotels, offering exciting opportunities for qualified individuals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide memorable guest service
- Take guest orders and follow all steps of service
- Deliver food and drink orders to guests
- Answer questions about the menu
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
- Enhance the dining experience with suggestions and personalized service
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase check averages
- Assist with processing payments
- Greet customers and discuss daily menu with management and kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of fine dining bartending experience
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service
- Neat appearance at all times
- Friendly and welcoming to both new and returning customers
- Comfortable running errands within the restaurant
- Knowledge of condiment refilling and sanitation practices
- Competence in securing payments and managing guest checks
Compensation: Wage for tipped employees is the minimum tipped hourly rate plus tips.
