Bartender

Job Summary: As a Bartender, you are responsible for preparing and serving beverages while maintaining beverage control, accuracy in pouring, and keeping the bar clean and organized. You will provide exceptional, personalized service to members and guests, consistently upholding the three steps of service to enhance their experience.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of service as outlined in the Food & Beverage training program.
Assist with food and beverage service at the bar.
Greet members promptly by name and provide a warm, personalized experience.
Accurately execute orders and requests in a timely manner.
Professionally address and resolve member and guest complaints, notifying management as needed.
Prepare the bar area at the start of each shift, ensuring all items are fully stocked and organized.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including regular sanitizing.
Complete daily assignments and side work to meet club standards.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
Manage liquor inventory responsibly, ensuring accurate pouring and beverage control.
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Duties:

Assist others as needed due to the dynamic nature of the club.
Follow all company, club, and department policies and procedures.
Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in all interactions.
Comply with safety guidelines and practices.
Take initiative in personal and professional growth.
Attend daily briefings and actively participate in team efforts.
Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness preferred.
Previous experience in Food & Beverage service preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong commitment to ethical work standards.
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors.
Basic knowledge of cocktails, wines, and proper wine opening.
Physically able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule:

Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined on the weekly schedule.
Additional hours may be required, including weekends and holidays.
