Position Summary: Bartenders play a key role in converting guests into loyal fans by providing friendly interaction and guiding them through our food and beverage selections.

Essential Functions:

Provide warm, friendly service from greeting through the entire Primanti Bros. experience.
Demonstrate proficient menu knowledge; explain options and promote current food & beverage specials, events, and Happy Hour.
Prepare all drinks according to Primanti Bros. recipes.
Ring up food and time delivery according to guest requests.
Follow up after order delivery to ensure accuracy.
Maintain bar cleanliness, practice pre-bussing, monitor drink levels, and remove clutter.
Adhere to alcohol awareness protocols for age verification and intoxication prevention.
Collect payments and complete transactions following established procedures.
Manage bar inventory ensuring alignment with POS totals and balance the POS system daily.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies throughout the shift.
Complete opening, shift change, and closing checklists as well as weekly/monthly cleaning tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to read and write English.
Excellent communication skills; friendly and people-oriented.
Dependable, enthusiastic, courteous, and able to multitask.
Basic math skills.
Must obtain and maintain RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements.

Qualification Standards:

Ability to stand for entire shift.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, wiping.
Proficiency with POS system, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent immersion of hands in water.
