Job Description
Title: Event Bartender
Job Location: Tyler Arboretum - Media, PA 19063 Position Type: Seasonal, Part-Time
Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality provides innovative cuisine and extraordinary hospitality for over 700 weddings annually across 16 venues in the tri-state area. We are seeking part-time bartenders to work at luxury weddings and events.
Requirements:
- Prior bartending experience or training is required.
- Knowledge of common cocktail recipes.
- Current RAMP certification.
- Ability to serve a large volume of guests (100+).
- Reliable transportation to venues in the Greater Philadelphia area, including Delaware County.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for up to 9 hours (with breaks).
Responsibilities:
- Set up bar stations and record alcohol inventory.
- Serve alcohol and mixed drinks during cocktail hours and receptions.
- Provide wine service, hospitality, and attend to guests' needs.
- Clean and break down bar stations after events.
Schedule:
- Wedding season runs from April to November.
- Events held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Shifts typically run from early afternoon to midnight (8 to 12 hours).
Compensation:
- Typical shift pay ranges from $150 to $250.
- Cash tips from guests and clients are common though not guaranteed.
