Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare drinks according to specified recipes.
- Demonstrate responsible alcohol service.
- Serve food to guests.
- Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately.
- Perform sales transactions proficiently using a point-of-sale system.
- Check identification for guests who appear under 30 years old.
- Maintain proper cash drawer balances.
- Direct guests to appropriate areas, including restrooms.
- Demonstrate thorough product knowledge.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Manage product inventory through bar pulls and regular inventories.
- Stock liquor, beer, wine, and glassware during shifts.
- Properly label, date, cover, and refrigerate prepped bar items.
- Maintain sanitation by properly using a 3-compartment sink for equipment, utensils, and glassware.
- Perform opening, closing, and side duties such as setting up and breaking down the bar, cleaning glass and countertops, and sweeping floors.
- Answer guest questions accurately and politely.
- Create memorable experiences and entertain guests to foster "Raving Fans."
