Job Description
Title: Bartender

Job Duties:
- Provide exceptional relational service to members, guests of members, and discovery guests.
- Prepare and serve drinks using accurate measurements and quality ingredients.
- Take food and drink orders, ensuring guests’ needs are met at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, including glassware, tables, and ashtrays.
- Manage beverage and food-related transactions according to management procedures.
- Receive, issue, and keep records of liquor and supplies.
- Build relationships by greeting members with warmth and professionalism.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, flawless service.
- Communicate with management on areas needing attention to improve service quality.
- Assist the Beverage Manager with promotional sales and ideas.
- Verify receipts for accuracy and complete side work and daily reports.
- Cross-train as a server, taking orders, placing them with the kitchen, assembling food trays, and serving dessert, coffee, and dinner drinks.
- Maintain certification such as TIPS and successfully complete The Cliffs certification process.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve and 21 years old to pour alcohol.
- Minimum of one year previous service or bartending experience.
- Possess or obtain within 30 days a current Alcohol Safe Service Certificate or equivalent alcohol training certification.
