Bartender
The Cliffs is comprised of seven luxury communities in the Carolinas, offering beautiful scenery and a welcoming environment. As a Bartender with The Cliffs, you will be part of a dedicated team striving to exceed members’ expectations with excellent service and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a partnership among Members, Associates, and Vendors promoting total wellness, including physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, ecological, and financial wellness.
- Provide relational and attentive service to Members, their guests, and Discovery Guests.
- Prepare and serve drinks using accurate measurements according to recipes.
- Take food and drink orders and ensure guests’ needs are met at all times.
- Register beverage and food transactions following management procedures.
- Manage receipt, issuance, and records of liquor and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the bar area, including ashtrays, tables, and glassware.
- Communicate with management about areas needing attention to maintain quality service.
- Assist Beverage Manager with promotional sales and ideas.
- Verify receipts and complete side work, daily reports, and cash banks accurately.
- Cross-train as a server by taking orders, placing kitchen orders, assembling food trays, removing dishes, and suggesting desserts and drinks.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21 to pour alcohol; at least 18 to serve.
- At least one year of previous service or bartending experience.
- Must possess or obtain an Alcohol Safe Service Certificate within 30 days of hire.
