Overview Serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain proper and adequate daily bar setup, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections.
Manage stock, prepare, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control.
Comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations related to serving alcoholic beverages.
Input orders into the point-of-sale system and create checks for guests to maintain accurate beverage accountability.
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, record payments, and ensure proper voucher execution.
Secure beverage, food, and equipment items after service, deposit cash drops, and secure the bank.
Adhere to attendance rules and be regularly available to work.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Hotel experience preferred.
Effective communication skills with guests.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
Basic math skills for cash handling and register operation.
Manual dexterity for garnishing, handling glassware and bottles, scooping ice, mixing drinks, and stock retrieval.
Ability to memorize and promote menu items.
Competency with keyboard and point-of-sale procedures.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills adaptable to different audiences.

Compensation Salary: $8.00 per hour Tipped/Service Charge Eligible: Yes Discretionary Performance Bonus Eligible: No
