Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and hospitable food and beverage service while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
Interact professionally with guests and coworkers.
Arrive on time and wear the proper uniform.
Assemble and disassemble the bar area according to procedures.
Prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, and syrups following recipe standards.
Assist guests with menu questions and continually improve knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Deliver, place, and remove food from tables properly.
Pre-bus and maintain tables throughout the restaurant.
Communicate questions or issues promptly to management.
Collaborate with team members enthusiastically.
Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations.
Maintain beverage inventory and restock the service bar as needed.
Wash and restock glassware for bar and guest use.
Maintain records of spills and comps.
Clean and maintain all necessary equipment and utensils.
Report equipment issues immediately to supervisors.
Have complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and mixing recipes.
Follow all sanitation procedures and regulations regarding alcohol sales and service.
Participate in continuing education courses.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Proficient in safely using knives and necessary equipment.
Maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification.
