Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is seeking passionate bartenders to join our team and contribute to making couples’ special day memorable. This role involves delivering excellent hospitality, accurately mixing and serving beverages, and maintaining a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the bar, ensuring it is fully stocked with necessary tools and products.
- Maintain appropriate alcohol inventory and quantities.
- Comply fully with TABC procedures and food and beverage regulations.
- Greet and interact with customers, take drink orders.
- Mix drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to venue recipes.
- Assess customer needs and preferences; make recommendations.
- Monitor guests for overconsumption and politely refuse additional service when necessary, informing management.
- Count and report liquor inventory at the end of each shift.
- Break down the bar and clean the work area, including trash removal, counter wiping, and floor mopping.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar bartender role preferred.
- Valid TABC and Food Handlers licenses required in Texas.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and stand/walk for 8-12 hours.
- Must submit to a background check, hold a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation.
- Eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify.
Compensation and Schedule:
- Part-time position requiring availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings when events occur.
- Hourly wage of $12 plus tips.
- 401(k) plan with 4% company match.
