Title: Bartender

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76107 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $14.00 - $16.00 Hourly

River Crest Country Club is seeking Part Time Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage Team. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is the city's oldest and most storied country club.

Pay Structure:

$14 - $16 per hour for regular bar work
Automatic 15% service charge on all sales
2% service charge on all service well drinks
$22 per hour when working bars at special events

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring member satisfaction by mixing and serving alcoholic drinks as requested by members and guests.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess and maintain a food handler’s permit and TABC certification
Knowledgeable of all applicable laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages
Attention to detail and ability to focus despite frequent interruptions
Neat and clean personal appearance
Reliable attendance
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

Determine to whom alcoholic beverages may be served
Report inventory levels and member/guest complaints to management
Adhere to all state liquor laws and club operating procedures, including verifying legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated customers
Maintain adequate bar inventory by daily inspection, requesting supplies, and recording stock levels
Greet guests and create a positive atmosphere
Follow set-up and closing procedures, ensuring clean and sanitary equipment
Mix, prepare, garnish, and serve drinks according to approved recipes
Process orders and payments using POS system
Prepare nightly requisitions and use Accubar devices for requisitions and monthly inventories
Present specials and suggest menu items
Take orders and communicate special instructions to the kitchen
Support banquet events by setting up, working, breaking down, and inventory management

Physical Demands:

Standing for long periods and walking
Climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching
Handling, positioning, and moving materials
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 40-50 pounds
Working in a fast-paced and noisy environment

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid food handler's permit and TABC certification. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain a professional, courteous attitude in a fast-paced environment.
