Job Description
Title: Cocktail Server - $6.69/hr. + tips (Sternewirth at Hotel Emma)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive and take guest orders, processing them promptly using the restaurant's current systems.
- Serve food and beverages, refilling drinks as needed.
- Perform sidework, opening and closing duties as specified.
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Clean tables, straighten chairs, and maintain a debris-free floor.
- Clean and replenish the service area as necessary.
- Bus and set tables.
- Assist in Room Service when required.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with support staff and management.
- Provide guests with hotel information, including details about on-property restaurants, shops, and current or upcoming events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Good knowledge of food and service.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems.
- Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage of $6.69 plus tips.
