Job Summary: As a Bartender, you will be responsible for maintaining beverage control, accurate pouring, and serving of products while keeping the bar area clean and organized. Deliver exceptional service aligned with club standards to exceed member and guest expectations. Uphold the 3-steps of service consistently to enhance the experience.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of service as per Food & Beverage training.
Serve food and beverages to members and guests at the bar.
Know members’ names and provide a warm, personalized experience.
Accurately execute orders promptly.
Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally, notifying management as needed.
Prepare the bar by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, ensuring full stock at shift start.
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization, including regular sanitizing.
Complete daily assignments and side work, including restocking supplies.
Maintain knowledge of the a la carte menu, daily features, and specials.
Ensure liquor inventory is properly stocked, poured, and managed responsibly.
Support teamwork by assisting colleagues and members proactively.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Duties:

Assist others as needed due to the dynamic nature of the club.
Follow all company, club, and department policies.
Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Adhere to safety guidelines and promote safe working practices.
Pursue personal and professional growth, maintaining required certifications.
Engage in daily briefings and team activities.
Wear a clean, neat uniform meeting club standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness.
Previous experience in Food & Beverage service.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Strong ethical work standards.
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors.
Basic knowledge of bar operations and wine varietals.
Ability to properly open a bottle of wine with a wine tool.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Work in varying temperatures with possible exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding.
Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
Effective communication skills including talking, hearing, and sufficient visual acuity.

Bar Dishwasher

Work Schedule:

Attendance as outlined on the weekly schedule.
Additional hours may be required including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: Base pay varies depending on skills, experience, education, location, and hours worked (for non-exempt roles).
