Position Overview: Bartenders interact directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, preparing traditional and classic drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and maintaining bar cleanliness.

Essential Job Functions:

Set up the bar with supplies and products before opening to ensure smooth service flow.
Display products correctly to enhance sales.
Receive and prepare drink orders accurately using standard pours and recipes.
Process payments and make correct change.
Greet guests promptly and maintain positive guest relations.
Close down the bar ensuring inventory is secured and the area is cleaned and sanitized.
Assist servers with delivering food and beverages when needed.
Inform guests of daily specials and chef's specialties.
Take orders accurately and relay special instructions to kitchen staff.
Perform quality checks to ensure guest satisfaction.
Clear and reset tables promptly.
Handle cash and credit card charges following standard procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and bus stations.
Report guest complaints to supervisors promptly.
Attend pre-shift meetings as requested.
Review and submit Z reports with correct cash drops and credit card slips.
Follow company policies and legal requirements, including TIP certification within 3 months, verifying legal drinking age, and managing intoxicated guests responsibly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Strong customer service, prioritization, time management, and attention to detail skills.
Ability to work as part of a team, take ownership of responsibilities, and provide excellent guest service.
