Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Barback to join the team!

Experience with family entertainment centers is a plus but not required. We are a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional Family Entertainment Center experience, featuring exciting indoor karting, virtual reality simulators, arcade games, and event spaces. POSITION SUMMARY

The Barback is a part-time role responsible for supporting bartenders by anticipating guest needs, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing excellent guest service in a fun and energetic environment. All team members help ensure guest satisfaction by adhering to company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet visitors warmly and professionally.
Deliver food and beverages according to company standards.
Collect, wash, sanitize, and restock glassware and barware.
Re-stock bartender stations with liquor, ice, fruit, straws, and napkins efficiently.
Maintain sanitary conditions at all stations following health department standards.
Keep work areas organized and proactively clean and reset tables.
Dispose of broken glassware properly.
Rotate and restock produce, beer, and wine in coolers and liquor rooms.
Ensure drink inventory is fully stocked.
Provide energetic guest service with a sense of urgency.
Monitor guest safety and adherence to guidelines.
Assist with guest recovery to ensure positive experiences.
Maintain knowledge of Andretti brand, products, policies, and procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
Be aware of facility emergency procedures.
Perform opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pleasant, upbeat, and sociable demeanor.
Ability to work varied schedules including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally lift or stock up to 50 lbs.
Perform tasks involving bending, reaching, turning, climbing.
Ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
Comfortable in environments with bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
Follow all safety standards at all times.
