Title: Barback

Job Summary: Barbacks ensure bartenders have all necessary supplies to provide guests with an excellent bar experience. They maintain inventory, restock items, assist customers when bartenders are unavailable, and keep the bar clean and organized.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Support bartenders by replenishing ice, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies promptly.
Prepare the bar before service and clean up afterward, including polishing glassware and restocking ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, floors, shelves, and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to ensure adequate stock.
Assist in serving customers, taking orders, delivering drinks, and providing excellent customer service.
Collaborate with bartenders during service and help operate beverage equipment.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members for smooth operation during busy periods.
Continuously improve knowledge of beverages and bar practices through training.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum age 21 years.
Valid Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Service License or certification.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Customer-focused attitude with the ability to remain professional under pressure.
Basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to learn POS systems such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, and Paylocity.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
Ability to prepare orders quickly and accurately.
