Title: Bartender

Job Summary: Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the bar and patrons. Interact with customers, take orders, check IDs, and serve food and drinks. Assess customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations. Utilize Barbacks to ensure efficient bar operation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Craft and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, wines, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging guests in a friendly, professional manner; offer recommendations and answer menu questions.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients, flavors, pairing suggestions, and current industry trends.
Take and process drink orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring attention to detail and accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.
Present drinks attractively with appropriate garnishes and proper glassware.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, glassware, and workstations, following health and safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, provide change, and adhere to company cash handling policies.
Collaborate with team members including servers, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service.
Follow safety, sanitation procedures, and liquor laws to ensure responsible service.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Service Licensing required.
Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mixology techniques, and current industry trends.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail with precise execution of recipes and presentation.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a collaborative approach.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to learn POS systems such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, or Paylocity.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged standing and drink preparation.
Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
