Title: Bartender-03 INT – 6777

Location: Petaluma, CA Salary: $22.43/hour Work Schedule: Intermittent (0-19 hours/week)

Duties:

Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
Prepare a variety of alcoholic drinks with proper premix and garnish.
Serve patrons directly or deliver to wait staff.
Handle cash transactions, operate cash register, and maintain cash accountability.
Set up and maintain the bar in a sanitary and presentable condition.
Ensure adequate stock levels and maintain storeroom/work area organization.
Wash bar equipment, glassware, and utensils following sanitation procedures.
Assist higher-level bartenders as needed.
Complete required training for serving alcoholic beverages and annual refresher courses.
Identify and appropriately handle intoxicated or unruly patrons according to procedures.
Adhere to safety regulations, report hazards, injuries, or property damage promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required: Minimum:

Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale or completion of bartender training school.
Experience recognizing intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolving issues or seeking assistance.
Experience following proper cash handling procedures.
Physical ability to stoop, stand, and walk for long periods; lift 5-10 pounds frequently, pull/push 10-20 pounds, and occasionally lift over 40 pounds.
Meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Preferred:

One year of experience as a bartender.
