Now Hiring: Bartender

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome customers, understand their beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take orders.
Inform customers about new beverages and specials.
Be knowledgeable of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer questions and upsell appropriately.
Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages.
Verify legal drinking age by checking identification.
Provide responsible alcohol service in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
Take inventory and order supplies to keep the bar well-stocked.
Prepare and serve menu items according to Fogo de Chão recipes and guidelines.
Manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently; clean and clear tables.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and balance the cash register.
Educate yourself and assist coworkers in understanding bar terminology, including wine and liquor varieties.
Perform all reasonable tasks assigned by management.

Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods. Requires high endurance, mental acuity, and the ability to manage conflict and high-stress situations.
