Job Description
Position: Duffy’s Bartender
Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary: Responsible for delivering excellent service to provide a memorable experience for bar guests.
Major Responsibilities:
- Review and explain the MVP program to guests, demonstrating strong knowledge.
- Accurately input guests' orders into the POS system.
- Present menus, answer questions, upsell to enhance dining experience, and explain menu item preparation.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and dining room guests.
- Serve liquor, wine, bottled and draft beer.
- Ensure guest safety by checking identification and limiting excessive drinking, informing managers as needed.
- Maintain bar cleanliness including glasses, utensils, work areas, tables, storage, and coolers.
- Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, ice, glassware, napkins, and straws.
- Cut fresh fruit for garnishes and arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
- Collect payments and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and customers.

Essential Functions:
- Stand and walk for long periods.
- Use hands and fingers efficiently for various tasks.

- Physically active, capable of bending, stretching, lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Good visual and auditory acuity.
- Clear communication skills.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements: Candidates must be dependable, adaptable, and maintain professional composure in high-stress environments. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs is required.
