AMC provides a compensation range based on skill set, experience, and location. The starting pay for this position is $5.25 per hour plus tips. Compensation may vary by market.
- Welcome guests with a smile and serve drinks that enhance their movie experience
- Learn bartending basics through provided training, including mixing drinks and pouring correct portions
- Suggest featured and premium beverages to guests
- Verify IDs and ensure that only guests 21 and older are served, following all laws and guidelines
- Keep the bar area clean and stocked at all times
- Open and close the bar, setting up and breaking down as required
- Follow safety guidelines for the use of chemicals and cleaning materials
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth bar operations
- Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected
- Adhere to AMC Wardrobe Standards, including black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC-provided shirt (where applicable), and any locally required items
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor, promoting a fun and respectful atmosphere
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Bartender experience is appreciated but not required; training is provided
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to complete required training and certifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
- Passion for movies and creating a fantastic guest experience
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet or deposit into a dumpster or trash compactor
