Orchard Valley Golf Course, located in Aurora, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Bartender. Description: The Bartender is integral to the guest experience and provides both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage services. This position emphasizes craft cocktails and high-quality, service-oriented hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Manage bar supplies, including glassware and expendables.
Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.
Comply with all beverage laws and policies.
Collect payment for drinks served.
Greet guests promptly and provide attentive service.
Learn and recognize regular guests.
Monitor guest experience and address issues to ensure satisfaction.
Inspect bar inventory before opening.
Prepare garnishes and mix drinks.
Perform closing and cleanup duties.
Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies, including verifying legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests.
Support all course policies and management directives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years bartending experience.
Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol according to state law.
Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common cocktail recipes.
Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable and organized.
High school diploma or GED required.
Current Food Handler's Certificate and BASSET Certificate required.

Compensation: $12 per hour plus tips.
