Title: Bartender

We are seeking a Seasonal Bartender to provide friendly and responsive service, creating an exceptional experience for all members and guests. You will mix quality beverages, provide prompt and consistent service, and uphold FFC values. This position reports directly to the Cafe & Bar Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, with a friendly personality, who enjoys being outdoors and wants to spend the summer working poolside.

Position: Bartender Job Type: Seasonal/Part-time Compensation: $9 per hour plus tips Schedule: Shifts vary, 11:30 am - 6:00 pm during weekdays and weekends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for members, guests, and co-workers.
Clean and disinfect all club components as used to maintain hygiene standards.
Promote the club and help retain and attract new members through excellent customer service.
Accurately follow beverage recipes and have thorough knowledge of menu offerings and prices.
Provide prompt and consistent bar service to members, guests, and servers.
Set up and break down the bar; stock and restock according to specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bar, service stations, and equipment.
Accurately process guest purchases using the point of sale system, including payment handling.
Provide beverage menu information to guests.
Arrive prepared to begin work at scheduled times.
Maintain uniform and grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have or be willing to learn comprehensive knowledge of beverage recipes.
Basic computer skills required.
Strong service orientation and ability to anticipate guest needs.
Ability to work extended periods without sitting.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), including liquor boxes and ice bins.
Responsible for handling the bar till and payments accurately.
Physical requirements include walking and standing throughout the shift, climbing stairs, kneeling, pushing/pulling objects, and cleaning.
Must be at least 21 years old.
